Fuchsia Fantasy Flying DollFuchsia Fantasy is the pink one — the doll most of us picture when someone says Sky Dancers.
“Pull the string, let go, look up.”
Every Sky Dancers flying doll travels with her own launcher. She clips onto the top, you pull the cord in one smooth stroke, and the foam wings under her arms open the moment she leaves the base. She climbs, spins, and comes back down in a slow twirl that kids run to catch.
We kept the 1994 idea untouched: no batteries, no charger, no app. The power is the pull. What changed is the cast — new fairy dolls from the Enchanted Garden, the Gemstone Forest and Sugar Valley, each with her own colours, wing print and launcher shape.

Turquoise Twinkle Flying DollTurquoise Twinkle comes down from Sugar Valley in sea-glass teal: blue-green wings with a pearly sheen, a turquoise…
Purple Licious Flying DollPurple Licious is our sweetest-looking flyer: violet hair, lilac wings with a pale swirl print and a launcher shaped…
Lovely Luna Flying Fairy DollLovely Luna belongs to our Sky Dancers Style wave — the fashion-forward side of the family.
Our flying dolls have always had a dance floor behind them. In the 1996 animated series the Sky Dancers were five students of the High Hope Dance Academy — Jade, Camille, Slam, Angelica and Breeze — taught by the widowed Queen Skyla. When Sky Clone came after the Sky Swirl Stone, Queen Skyla called her students into the Wingdom and they danced in the sky to protect it.
The series was released on VHS and later on DVDs, and many of those boxes came with a doll inside, so a whole generation met Jade, Camille and Queen Skyla twice: once on the screen and once spinning off a launcher in the yard.
Fans like to match them up. Fuchsia Fantasy has the bright confidence of Slam, Turquoise Twinkle the calm of Breeze, Purple Licious the playfulness of Angelica, and Lovely Luna the poise of Jade at the barre. Queen Skyla would approve of all four — the five students only ever needed music and open sky.
Sharing memories with my children!
I played with one of these in the 90s so I got my daughters a couple. Brought back memories! Flies high! They love to send it off and see who can catch it. Perfect gift! Batteries not needed! Kids play with this for hours at a time. Size is perfect and it’s so fun! Worth every cent!
Perfect gift for a whimsy kid
Very happy with this purchase. I played with sky dancers as a kid and now I got to share that with my daughter. Nice, smooth pull and the little sky dancer flies up in a good motion. My daughter loves to pull the string and my son goes running to catch it! Amazing gift idea! Any little girl would love to get this.
Nostalgia
Definitely not the quality I remembered as a kid but my kid still loves it. When pulling the string. It does get caught up from time to time and frustrates her. Definitely brings back some memories.
A firm, straight pull sends her well above head height indoors and higher outside on a calm day. A slow tug lifts her only a little — the spin builds from a quick, even draw of the cord.
Fuchsia Fantasy is the one most families pick first: the classic pink look parents remember. Turquoise Twinkle and Purple Licious add the teal and lilac colourways, and Lovely Luna brings the Sky Dancers Style outfit.
The box says 6 and up. Launch away from faces, keep the launcher pointed at open sky or ceiling, and help little hands with the first pulls until the motion clicks.
